Almost all Mombasa Hotels offer incentives and offers throughout the year for both Kenyan residents and foreign visitors. Special deals for foreigners can usually be found under a category called “Non-Resident Rates”.

While  “Non-Resident Rates” are typically higher than “Resident” hotel rates, they still offer great value and in some cases come bundled with other services that make them a compelling option.

Here’s some advice: If you’re booking your hotel stay with a travel agent in your home country, they may not be able to offer you the posted “Non-Resident-Specials” as the hotels themselves, or local travel agents sell these directly.
